Champions League: Bayern Munich – Real Madrid (17/04/2012)

Champions League is entering a decisive stage of the season with semi finals on the schedule. The first one is giving us a great game between Bayern Munich and Real Madrid.

Bayern got only a draw in their last Bundesliga game. A result that means that they won’t win the title there and their only chance for big success this season is Champions League. The situation is much better for Real. The Galacticos were struggling against Sporting Gijon but eventually got a decent 3:1 win keeping them 4 points on top of Barcelona in La Liga.

Premier League: Blackburn – Liverpool (09/04/2012)

Liverpool is having a chance to get closer to both Everton and Chelsea in Premier League. The Reds are not having a great season and are drifting away from top of the table with only 47 points from 32 games.

However Blackburn is facing much worse situation being in the relegation place with just 28 points this season. If they fail to win this one the competitors will escape and the situation will turn even worse.

The chances for Blackburn are rather limited. They lost their last 4 games. Liverpool is also on a poor run as they haven’t won in their last 4.

Last games from Blackburn:

West Br. 3:0 Blackburn
Blackburn 0:2 Man. Utd.
Bolton 2:1 Blackburn
Blackburn 2:0 Sunderl.
Wolves 0:2 Blackburn

Premier League: Arsenal – Manchester City (08/04/2012)

This Premier League weekend is bringing one of the most interesting games of the season. I personally love to watch both teams as their style is quite similar and their games are always action packed with a number of goals quaranteed.

Arsenal got a disappointing result in their last league game when they lost to QPR. Citizens also haven’t impressed as they’ve managed to get a 3:3 draw at home against Sunderland in the added time of play. And this means that their local rivals United are 5 points clear on top of English Premier League table with a huge chance to claim the title. If City wants to keep dreaming about the league title they desperately need 3 points in London.

While Manchester is still in title race Arsenal has to fight hard to keep their 3rd place that guarantees Champions League qualifiers for next season. Arsenal is level on points with Tottenham but even dropping to 4th will not be too bad as it still means Champions League football next year. What would be disastrous is falling behind Chelsea and Newcastle which are currently 5th and 6th with 53 points each.

Injuries list is not a great info for Citizens as Nasri, Richards, Lescott and especially Aguero are all side lined for this one. Arsenal will need to survive without Mertesacker, Wilshere and Frimpong.

Last 6 Premier League games from Arsenal:

QPR 2:1 Arsenal
Arsenal 3:0 Aston Villa
Everton 0:1 Arsenal
Arsenal 2:1 Newcast.
Liverpool 1:2 Arsenal
Arsenal 5:2 Tottenh.

Last 6 Premier League games from Citizens:

Man. City 3:3 Sunderl.
Stoke City 1:1 Man. City
Man. City 2:1 Chelsea
Swansea 1:0 Man. City
Man. City 2:0 Bolton
Man. City 3:0 Blackburn

Over 2,5 goals with 1.80 from Bwin is our pick for the game

Premier League: Blackburn – Manchester United (02/04/2012)

Manchester United has a big chance to get another 2 points advantage over their local rivals. Citizens got a draw in their home game against Sunderland and if United manage to win on Monday they will be 5 points on top of the league.

United are obviously strong favorites for a win. Sir Alex Ferguson is experienced enough to know how to motivate his players in such advanced stage of the season. United are not playing in Europe anymore so Premier League is their obvious priority. Will all that in mind it’s hard to except any other result than away team win.

Last 6 games of Blackburn in Premier League:

Wolves 0:2 Blackburn
Blackburn 1:1 Aston Villa

Premier League: Tottenham – Swansea (01/04/2012)

Premier League season is full of surprices and we’ve seen already two in this round with Arsenal loss against QPR and Man City draw against Sunderland. Think 2 is enough for a round and I’m expecting a win from Tottenham against Swansea.

Last 6 Premier League games from Tottenham:

Chelsea 0:0 Tottenh.
Tottenh. 1:1 Stoke City
Everton 1:0 Tottenh.
Tottenh. 1:3 Man. Utd.
Arsenal 5:2 Tottenh.
Tottenh. 5:0 Newcast.

Last 6 Premier League games from Swansea:

Swansea 0:2 Everton
Fulham 0:3 Swansea
Swansea 1:0 Man. City
Wigan 0:2 Swansea
Stoke City 2:0 Swansea
Swansea 2:3 Norwich

Their first game this season ended with a 1:1 draw. Now with own stadium adventage Tottenham should get 3 points.

Tottenham for win with 1.44 from Will Hill

Premier League: Aston Villa – Chelsea (31/03/2012)

Time to start next Premier League round. The first and one of the most interesting games will be the clash of Aston Villa and Chelsea.

The last representative of England in Champions League will face a hard one in their fight for European football for next season. The Blues are doing well in Europe but in Premier League they are currently on 5th place 5 points behind Tottenham, which means their Champions League football for next year is running away. And if they don’t get 3 points in Birmingham it might be impossible for them to catch Spurs.

Last 6 Premier League games from Aston Villa:

Arsenal 3:0 Aston Villa
Aston Villa 1:0 Fulham
Blackburn 1:1 Aston Villa
Wigan 0:0 Aston Villa
Aston Villa 0:1 Man. City
Newcast. 2:1 Aston Villa

Last 6 Premier League games from Chelsea:

Chelsea 0:0 Tottenh.
Man. City 2:1 Chelsea
Chelsea 1:0 Stoke City
West Br. 1:0 Chelsea
Chelsea 3:0 Bolton
Everton 2:0 Chelsea

It will be a hard game for Chelsea but they are in good run of form and should be able to get 3 points.

Champions League: AC Milan – FC Barcelona (28/03/2012)

The most interesting clash in Champions League quarter finals is coming! FC Barcelona is the main favorite for the win but AC Milan will be a very hard opponent to beat.

The Italians have beaten Arsenal in previous round with an impressive performance at San Siro (4:0). If they manage to repeat such performance against Barca they have a good chance to beat their rivals.

Last Champions League games from Arsenal:

Arsenal 3:0 Milan
Milan 4:0 Arsenal
Plzen 2:2 Milan
Milan 2:3 Barcelona
Bate Bor. 1:1 Milan
Milan 2:0 Bate Bor.

Last Champions League games from Barcelona:

Barcelona 7:1 Bayer L.
Bayer L. 1:3 Barcelona
Barcelona 4:0 Bate Bor.
Milan 2:3 Barcelona
Plzen 0:4 Barcelona
Barcelona 2:0 Plzen

Odds are suggesting Barca is strong favorite for an away win at San Siro. It’s obviously quite likely but 1.70 for an away win at such advanced stage of competition is hardly a value bet. It’s much better to risk AC Milan win with up to 5.00 and that’s what we will do :)

AC Milan to win with 5.00 from Will Hill (low stake)

Champions League: APOEL – Real Madrid (27/03/2012)

Time for Champions League come back. The first quarterfinal gives us a clash of one of the main favorites with the very new comer to this stage of competition.

Real gave no chances to CSKA Moscow in previous round while APOEL made yet another surprice beating Shakhtar Doneck.

Last 6 Champions League games from APOEL:

Lyon 1:0 APOEL
APOEL 0:2 Shakhtar
Zenit 0:0 APOEL
APOEL 2:1 Porto
Porto 1:1 APOEL
Shakhtar 1:1 APOEL

Last 6 Champions League games from Real Madrid:

Real Mad. 4:1 CSKA
CSKA 1:1 Real Mad.
Ajax 0:3 Real Mad.
Real Mad. 6:2 Dinamo
Lyon 0:2 Real Mad.
Real Mad. 4:0 Lyon

Real will need to play without Angel Di Maria, Ricardo Carvalho, Jose Callejon, Lass Diarra and Xabi Alonso. Mourinho still has a very wide choice so he will surely put together a good starting line up. Looks that the luck of APOEL is coming to a end.

Real to win with 1.30 from Will Hill

Primera Division: Sevilla – Barcelona (17/03/2012)

It will be one of the games that Barcelona can potentially loose. And not getting 3 points against Sevilla will most likely mean that Catalans will completely loose all their chances for La Liga title this season.

Sevilla is not in top form. They failed to win their last two league games. But still this team has a big potential and they should fight hard against Barca.

Last 6 games from Sevilla:

Gijon 1:0 Sevilla
Sevilla 1:1 Atletico M
Valencia 1:2 Sevilla
Sevilla 2:0 Ossasuna
Real Soc. 2:0 Sevilla
Sevilla 1:2 Villarreal

Last six games of Barcelona

Racing 0:2 Barcelona
Barcelona 3:1 Gijon
Atletico M 1:2 Barcelona
Barcelona 5:1 Valencia
Ossasuna 3:2 Barcelona
Barcelona 2:1 Real Soc.

Obviously it’s a risky bet, but one worth taking. 1X with 3.25 from Unibet
